At Flowline Specialists, we place great importance on health, safety, quality and the environment. Our skilled team manufacture high-quality equipment that operates efficiently, and their health, safety and wellbeing is our top priority.
Each member of staff is trained in the latest health and safety practices and they are encouraged to voice any concerns they have when working on our premises or during operations at client sites. We are committed to providing a safe working environment for everyone and eliminating all possible risks that employees, contractors and colleagues may be exposed to.
We aim to make the most efficient use of resources throughout all our operations and seek to recycle and reduce waste as part of our environmental obligations. Much of the equipment we manufacture has been designed to be modular, meaning that it can be easily transported or shipped as part of standard loads, removing the need for unnecessary abnormal loads.
All of our operations are carried out in accordance with relevant health and safety and environmental legislation. We hold ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 quality and environmental management certifications and OHSAS 18001 occupational health and safety accreditations. These certifications demonstrate our commitment to quality, continual improvement and sustainable business performance.
As a business we acknowledge that we can never stand still and strive, in whatever way we can, to continually improve our QHSE function, which is overseen by QHSE manager Donald Walker - pictured left. With three decades of experience in the energy and steel production, manufacturing and fabrication sectors, and as a chartered member of the Institute of Safety and Health (IOSH), he is well placed to manage that process.
